Our Services

We are committed to helping individuals and families manage the challenges of aging, chronic illness and disability. Our services include the following:

Estate Planning: Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney

We are available to help you review and revise your existing estate planning documents, implement cost-effective strategies to protect your interests and your assets, and minimize estate taxes for future generations. A carefully drafted last will and testament ensures your assets will transfer according to your wishes, and avoid family discord and costly disputes. There are also a variety of trust strategies available to provide asset protection from the costs of long-term care, minimize estate and gift taxes, and help you pass more of your wealth on to your heirs and beneficiaries.

Health Care Proxies

These important legal documents help protect you in the event you become incapacitated and unable to make decisions for yourself. We will help you create the necessary documents to ensure that your wishes are respected regarding your finances and medical choices if you cannot speak for yourself.

Public Benefits and Services

We are experts in MassHealth, Social Security and Public Benefits Administration. We can assist you in finding and applying for services, as well as representation at appeal hearings to ensure our clients receive supports they are entitled to, due to age, illness or disability.

Guardianship and Conservatorship

Guardianships and conservatorships are legal relationships established by the probate court whereby an individual is given responsibility for making decisions for another. Guardians have authority over personal and medical decisions, while conservators are given authority over financial decisions.

In Massachusetts, both guardians and conservators are required to file information with the court annually. Guardians are required to file a Guardian Care Plan Report, and Conservators are required to file Annual Accounts.
